Topic: Archives Week

Sarah Rowe Sims scheduled to speak during Archives Week. Topic will be an overview of the Sovereignty Commission and the legal cases that followed dealing with civil rights. Flight and hotel need to be finalized for her. Room needs to be set up in the LBJ library.
Dr. Doty's date to speak and subject still need to be verified.
Funding. Mary Anne and April will attend the SG meeting, which is mandatory if the SAA wishes to apply for SG small grant support.
Archives Week will be officially proclaimed on October 21, 2004 by the city of Austin. The event will be hosted by Austin City Mayor Will Wynn. April will be there to accept the honor. The city's Archives Week will coincide with the SAA's Archives Week, October 31st through November 6th.

Previously discussed photo archives panel: it has been decided to move this to spring semester.

Topic: SAA Activities-Tours

On Sunday, September 26th at 6th and Congress (on the north side) the dedication of the Angelina Eberly statue will take place.
