5 FEBRUARY 2003 MEETING MINUTES

Next Meeting: 5 March, 2003

Present: Molly Wheeler, Ben Stone, Trish Nugent, Traci Drummond, Dixie Owen, Erin Lawrimore, Catherine Stollar, Daniel Alonzo, Aubrey Carrier, Ron Drees, Cherie Baker.

Meeting called to order by Molly Wheeler, President, at 5:20 pm

I. Events

• EAD Workshop-Erin will try to arrange the workshop for the first Friday afternoon in April.
• Sacramento History Online Presentation-Dixie reported that everything was set for the presentation.
• Mexico Visit-Right now the trip is scheduled for the last weekend in March. Molly will forward the itinerary Dr, Gracy proposed to the SAA list.
• Photo Presentation-Trish will speak with Roy Flukinger.
• Georgia Harper-Molly has been in touch with Georgia Harper, but needs to get back to her to clarify what Molly was proposing. The group also discussed the possibility of asking Prof. Russo of the Law school, who gave a presentation at HRC, to speak on the copyright issue.

II. Mugs

• The Group agreed to order travel mugs for the next round, but will talk of the design until later. The group wants to include next year's board in the mug selection.

IV. Elections

• The group agreed to hold elections for next year's board after spring break.
